Grenadier Guards Association Nottinghamshire Site1
The Grenadier Guards Association is Registered under the Charities Act 1960 (No 287265)

Welcome to the Nottinghamshire Branch which was formed in 1913. This County has always been a fertile ground for the recruitment of Grenadiers for many years now and in consequence we have a membership of exceeding 290. Unfortunately they do not all engage themselves in Branch activities. Nevertheless the attendance rate at the monthly meetings vary between 30 and 60. Wives and partners are always welcome.

You will be kept updated with the activities of the Regiment. Make and meet new friends. Share an excellent free buffet and alcoholic beverages are available on payment. A 'No Smoking' policy is invoked during the meeting.
Welfare too is of prime importance and we try and keep in touch with all our elder members, their Widows and/or Grenadiers who have fallen on 'hard times'.

Many functions are arranged throughout the year and in some cases transport is provided at a small cost. Annually a deserving cause within the area is selected as the Branch Charity to which money raised from the various events are donated. The functions are advertised on on this Website which is regulary updated. Our new Domain Name is much shorter and easier to find. Another site, mainly for the display of photographs has been added and access to it is by use of the 'LINK PAGE' at the bottom of the index located to the left of your screen.

The main web address is:-http://www.grenadierguardsnotts.org.uk/.

If you are a Grenadier please come and join us and bring your lady too. You will find the welcome most heartwarming.

Geoff Hallam.
Ass. Secretary.
